Nvidia has demonstrated the benefits of high frame rates in games

In the video published by Nvidia, the advantages of high frame rates in games are shown on the example of the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. So, according to the company, 60 fps is no longer enough to dominate the game: 144 or even 240 fps is better – this indicator that will reduce image output delays, eliminate image gaps (the so-called tearing), make the animation smoother and facilitate aiming.

Of course, a high frame rate per second can be achieved only on the corresponding hardware – in particular, powerful RTX video cards from Nvidia and the flagship RX-series video chips from AMD.
